in a world where folklore and fae are very much alive and thriving on the fringes of human life in Scotland, the inevitable creep of society has led to an increase in what those at The Howling Howff like to call 'incidents'. Whilst being a werewolf is great and all, learning to be one in a community heavily skewed towards the human way of life can be tricky and not without its teething problems. If you're reading this and are the result of such an 'incident', then The Howling Howff is here for you. <br \/><br \/>As a werewolf fan that loves immersive physical media (and decided fairly early on that I\u2019d rather not write a series of novels), I picked one aspect from the world I\u2019d been mulling over in my head and gave it a go. What initially started as a 52 page handbook for the new and rightfully confused werewolf, quickly gained momentum through a fully funded Kickstarter - and then some. As an avid horror fan (thanks Uncle Mark), I latched onto cautionary folk tales with grisly endings and began to imagine a world where the fae of today are no less tame than they were back when those stories were written. Outside of reading and exploring the countryside, I can\u2019t recall a time where I haven\u2019t been drawing werewolves, which got me into trouble more than once in school. If my personal work doesn\u2019t have rain and soggy wolves in it, I\u2019m not interested! This lifelong passion for the outdoors led to a focus on sustainability, as well as supporting UK businesses that provide more environmentally friendly options. As a result, The Howling Howff was printed with 100% recycled materials inside the UK, and the clothing on this site uses a sustainable print-on-demand UK-based company.
